IPM currently has 12 CNC Lathes in production. With the recent additions of our daewoo v550 & v400m vertical lathes, we are capable of turning parts up to 29 " diameter with lengths of up to 29.5". Our largest shaft capability is 11" diameter by 38" long. We turn all types of parts from forgings, castings and bar stock; and materials from carbon steel to aerospace exotics.

tolerances as tight as .0005" can be held depending on part configuration. we are also capable of doing hard turning which in many cases eliminates the need for grinding.
